I have been left without medication during the Christmas period due to the inefficiency of your practice. I made the repeat prescription request via email on Sunday and have only discovered that it has not been processed because I visited my pharmacy. Your receptinist did not understand the notes which your doctor has left regarding this and no one had the courtesy to contact me to alert me to the face that I would need to see a doctor. I work and am not able to just drop thing to attend a pop in centre and there is No way of booking an appointment until the new year. I have been massively unimpressed with the service your practice provides since being transferred from Brixton Water Lane and this is just further evidence of the lack of Personal care and service.

My GP Dr Marshall has gone above and beyond to diagnose, advise and treat me and I could not be more grateful. Always kind and respectful, the practice has offered me the best service I have experienced from any surgery I've ever registered with. The smoking cessation clinic run by Yvonne was also a huge help. I'd never thought that something like that could help but my meetings with Yvonne made the difference - I looked forward to them! Thanks to everyone at Herne Hill GP for your time and support.

I have been registered with the surgery for few years now. I normally get nice doctors attending to me whenever I attend the surgery with my kids. The reception staff are very welcoming. I visited the surgery this afternoon 16/11/17 to get appointment for my daughter and the receptionist told me there is a walk in for two years and under. She realised after taking my child's DOB that she was two and asked me to bring her before 18:20. I took the child at 18:00 and we were called at 18:30 by the oncall GP. The lady doctor wasn't welcoming at all. The moment she saw myself and my daughter at her door she sarted questioning why I am using the walk in service and kept saying the service is only for emergencies. I tried explaining how I got the appointment but she wouldn't listen to me insisting my child is over two. I am a health worker and appreciate the pressure on healthcare professionals. I however wasn't expecting a Dr to approach any patient in the way she did. I would like this issue to be addressed as I felt very uncomfortable throughout the consultation and my evening has been ruined.

I've had a really positive experience of HHGP overall..the only negative thing is that when I called the results line yesterday (16/10) at around 1.20pm ish I was left waiting for someone to answer for 35 minutes, despite being "number 1" in the queue for the last 20 minutes of that! I noticed someone answered at 2pm so maybe this service should be suspended over lunchtime if it is difficult to answer? Thanks!

Since Brixton water lane has merged with Herne hill it's extremely difficult to get through on the phone to book an appointment. I called this morning at 8am and I was caller number 4. 31 minutes later I'm still on hold and caller number 2.
